Technical Tour to HYDROUSA demo sites on Mykonos Island on June 10

Post-conference technical tour to HYDRO3&4 Nature-Based Solutions in Mykonos.

After the closing of the Water Innovation and Circularity Conference, Simos Malamis (Coordinator of HYDROUSA project) along with Antonis Eleftheriou (operator of HYDRO3 & 4), and Ioannis Vasilakos (Designer and constructor of HYDRO3 & 4), will be organizing an informal technical tour to the HYDROUSA demo sites. All conference attendees are cordially invited to join!

The tour is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 10th June. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit and be guided on the Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) applied in the island for residential rainwater harvesting and subsurface rainwater harvesting. The duration of the tour is estimated to be around two hours. The WICC committee will arrange your transportation from Mykonos port and aiport to the site (Ano Mera village) and back.

Please note that attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation from Athens to Mykonos. Mykonos island can be reached by either plane (Mykonos Airport – JMK) or ferry, departing from either Piraeus Port or Rafina Port.
