Evdokia Achilleos is a Head of Sector in the European Research Executive Agency (REA), Unit ‘’B3- Biodiversity, Circular Economy and Environment’’, which implements part of Horizon Europe and H2020 programs. Evdokia has been working for 12 years in the European Commission, first in Water Policy and then for Research Programs in the fields of water, circular/bio economy, and zero-pollution. Previously, she worked at the Greek Public Administration for water policy, at engineering companies focusing on environmental impact and sustainability for different industries and as a researcher in the areas of transport phenomena and materials. Her education is in Chemical Engineering, and she has BSc from Penn State University and an MA and PhD from Princeton University.
